  • Congratulations to Eric M. Clementi, Vice President of Schneider Wright Inc. Eric recently achieved the designation of LEED ACCREDITED PROFESSIONAL from the Green Building Certification Institute. He successfully completed the LEED for New Construction & Major Renovation Exam. Schneider Wright Inc. is a corporate member of the Atlanta Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council.

SWI Selected for EMS Expansion, Cox Projects, and Sumter County...

  • SWI has recently been selected to design the new expansion to the EMS Technologies, Inc. corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in the Technology Park area of Peachtree Corners in Norcross, Georgia. This new 34,000 SF addition will accommodate additional offices, research and development, and manufacturing needs for this international company. EMS designs, manufactures and markets products for diverse commercial, defense and government markets. It operates in three segments: Defense and Space System, LXE, EMS Wireless and SATCOM. The Defense and Space System segment manufactures custom-designed, highly engineered hardware for use in space and satellite communications. LXE manufactures wireless mobile computers and wireless local area network products for logistics and other enterprise applications. SATCOM manufactures earth-based antennas, terminals and other hardware for communications via satellite link.
  • SWI has also completed the design and space planning for Cox Business and Cox Wireless groups in Atlanta, Georgia. These additional two floors contain 44,000 SF of space and are located in North Atlanta. One floor houses the offices for Cox Business, the business-to-business arm of Cox Communications. The other floor provides a new, upscale environment for Cox Wireless as well as shared common facilities for several Cox groups located in this same building.
  • SWI has been selected and has started the design for three projects in Sumter County, Georgia. The projects include a new City Hall building for the City of DeSoto, Georgia and renovations and restorations for the Police Department and the City Hall for the City of Leslie, Georgia. These three projects are funded through a Special Local Option Sales Tax passed by the citizens of Sumter County, Georgia.
